Dreamgirl had the honor of being recognized in 2015 as an award winning company in Los Angeles by the LA Business Journal. The annual Southern California Apparel Awards had many retailers, manufacturers, and wholesalers featured, and we're honored to be the best lingerie company on the list of finalists. 

Christopher C. Scharff, our senior level international executive, has a solid track record of business success. With his strong multilingual language and excellent communication skills, Scharff has experience leading and managing staff in a variety of settings and in diverse consumer products and service driven industries. Scharff purchased Lovin' Enterprises, an international manufacturer of Dreamgirl brand lingerie, club wear and costumes in May of 2003. Christopher has completely dedicated his time to upgrading the groups merchandising, product development, quality, and domestic & international sales efforts. Currently, this International apparel groups is on track to increase its sales & profits over ten fold within the six years of acquisition.

Our celebration of these examples of excellence took place at our 2015 Southern California Apparel Awards event on Thursday, December 8th at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. The list of prestige finalists – each an example of excellence in the industry – made it particularly difficult to arrive at the honorees. Nine honorees are announced in this section in different categories – “Public Company of the Year,” “Private Company of the Year,” “Social Responsibility Award,” “Trendsetter Award,” “Supplier of the Year,” “Rising Brand Award,” “Professional Service Provider of the Year,” “Industry Impact Award” and the “Industry Icon Award.” We applaud each of the finalists and honorees – all of whom are described in these pages.
